The short version: calculations run in your browser, we never see your dates, and the site collects almost nothing. Details below.
Your Data Never Leaves Your Browser
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The breeding dates you enter are not transmitted to our servers, not logged, and not stored anywhere by us. If you use the "remember my date" feature, the date is saved in your own browser's local storage on your own device, and clearing your browser data removes it completely. There are no user accounts and no passwords to leak.
What Little We Collect
Two things only:
- Anonymous analytics (Google Analytics 4), loaded in cookieless mode unless you accept cookies via the consent banner. Analytics records page views, not your inputs. See the privacy policy.
- Contact form submissions, only when you choose to send one, used solely to reply to you.
Platform Security
- HTTPS everywhere; plain HTTP requests are permanently redirected and browsers enforce it via HSTS.
- Security headers on every response: content-type protection, clickjacking protection (frame denial), referrer policy, and locked-down permissions.
- Static delivery through Netlify's edge network: pages are pre-rendered, so there is no server-side code executing per request.
- No third-party trackers beyond the consent-gated analytics described above.
